Shredding Technologies
The Purpose of The POPI Act Is To:
Give effect to the constitutional right to privacy, by safeguarding personal information when processed by a responsible party, subject to justifiable limitations that are aimed at — balancing the right to privacy against other rights, particularly the right of access to information; and protecting important interests, including the free flow of information within the Republic and across international border
Regulate the manner in which personal information may be processed, by establishing conditions, in harmony with international standards, that prescribe the minimum threshold requirements for the lawful processing of personal information
Provide persons with rights and remedies to protect their personal information from processing that is not in accordance with this act; and
Establish voluntary and compulsory measures, including the establishment of an Information Regulator, to ensure respect for and to promote, enforce and fulfil the rights protected by this act
Here Is What We Have To Offer
Secure Onsite Shredding
Shredding facilitated at the clients’ premises or service address utilizing high-security level shredding equipment. This option offers an added benefit of allowing the client to oversee the shredding process.
Secure Offsite Shredding
Shredding facilitated at our warehouse utilizing high-security level shredding equipment. Clients can drop off their material at our warehouse and may be present for the destruction process as an additional offsite shredding option.
Degaussing Services
We offer degaussing services for electronic items such as tapes, hard drives (HDD’s/ SSD’s), smartphones and USB’s that store confidential information. This is the best method for multimedia destruction according to the US National Security Agency (NSA).
Equipment Rental
This service is perfect for clients who prefer to be “hands on”. We offer a variety of high security office shredders that are available to lease on a day-to-day basis.
ShredConsole
We offer a ShredConsole service. The ShredConsole is filled with confidential documents or materials that need destruction, this is securely collected and destroyed once a month or as per the clients’ request.
Certificate of Destruction
A Certificate of destruction is issued as confirmation oto compliance to the Protection of Personal Information Act
